A Learning Course Review focuses on a review of a learning product, course, or class for pedagogical and design effectiveness.
This review includes a full evaluation of the product, course, or class based on client needs or on general learning experience effectiveness.
A Course Learning Build focuses on building a learning experience from the ground up. This can be a learning product, session, course, or class.
Utilizing backward design, the build will focus on the outcomes/objectives first and focus on how the course materials, lessons, and assessments can meet the end goals for an effective learning experience.
User Experience Reviews (UX Reviews) focus on reviewing products or websites for issues that might impede users' interest or experience.
These reviews will focus on aspects, items, and elements of a website or page and recommend edits and additions to improve website usability and accessibility.
An accessibility review specifically looks at meeting accessibility requirements for products, courses, and classes. These are most needed for online items.
These reviews will utilize a mixture of ADA and WCAG criteria and standards. These can review how videos, documents, websites, materials, and other learning items meet accessibility and what corrections are needed.
Course templates best suited to online learning management systems such as Blackboard and Canvas are available.
These templates are pre-made with editable and customizable items and options for 6-, 8-, or 16-week courses. Options for online or in-person courses available.
Instructional design takes many forms. If a need of your school, company, or group is not represented here, then I can work to meet your needs.
We can work together to discuss other actions and products that you have that could use some type of instructional design support.
